Groundstate Coffee in Dublin

Came Back and Still Impressed! I've been to Groundstate Coffee twice now, and both times were genuinely good. The mushy toasty and the pastrami sandwich are definitely worth trying - fresh, tasty, and filling without being heavy. Their flat white is smooth and well made, and the chai latte was also really nice. The atmosphere is relaxed but still has a bit of character, and both times the staff were friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. It's a great spot if you want a solid breakfast and a proper coffee without any fuss. Happy I found this place - I'll definitely keep coming back when I'm in the area.

Have to say Groundstate has the best filter coffee in Dublin 8! Super fruity and really really tasty. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff and with an epic coffee knowledge! Would 100% recommend this place if you love tasty coffee!

Didn’t realise Groundstate did Açai bowls! I never post reviews but just wanted to let everyone know that their açai bowls are 10/10, top quality and good value ! Also my coffee is always 10/10 too😍

What surprised me the most in minimum words? Great food, not a tasty coffee. Cutting long story short I’ve found Groundstate Coffee a very nice place with a casual decor, amazingly friendly staff and a menu matching tastes of majority of clients, almost everyone can find their flavour in there. My visit had a clear purpose as it was a morning hour and I was looking for a healthy and delicious breakfast accompanied by a good coffee. I have to say, Groundstate Coffee was a jackpot or at least it looked like it. Ordering a sandwich (Pastrami Sambo) and an americano coffee seemed to me an easy choice and not so complicated either. When my meal arrived (and in reasonable time) I happily noticed the sandwich was large and prepared with well composed ingredients creating nice layers, as expected from this impression it was delicious (note homemade fingers licking slaw)! Content with such a good beginning I turned to test out cup of coffee beside it. Short to say, disappointment it was, such a pity. Frankly speaking I’d never expect a sour- tasting cup of coffee in the establishment holding a company/brand website with advices how to brew a delicious coffee, would you? I hoped by displaying and sharing a knowledge of coffee making this will be an undoubtedly easy to serve well prepared hot beverage. Unfortunately it wasn’t a case, coffee was clearly under brewed and out of taste. I really like this cafe as it has everything in place to be one of the best and nice places to return to, however it looses the purpose when there is no good coffee to enjoy. My only hope is that the above failure was due to human error, bad day, staff in training still, etc, and can be easily resolved and make Groundstate Coffee most visited cafe in Dublin. This would be my sincere wish as the staff, vibe, space and the menu are all amazing!

Encontramos este pequeño gran café en los mapas de Google mientras buscaba un lugar para desayunar antes de visitar Guinness. El personal era amable y muy acogedor antes de mostrarnos a nuestra mesa. Tuve su bollo de desayuno mientras mi pareja tenía huevos en tostadas con chorizo, ambos estaban deliciosos. Nos gustó mucho el ambiente de este lugar y lo recomendaría a cualquiera que busque comer algo antes de explorar Dublín.

A su llegada, se le recibe con una cálida bienvenida y se le muestra un asiento si es necesario. El café servido por Luchi es increíble . . . usted sigue queriendo más.
