Hairy Lemon in Dublin

Solid food, had the Guinness and Beef stew which tasted fantastic. Service great although you could tell a little tricky due to business. Loved the atmosphere and would go again!

10/15/2024 We were able to eat here twice. The first was our initial pub upon entering Ireland! What a great first meal. The place feels like am Irish old pub and the pint of Guinness was perfect. There were locals in here and tourists alike, so a great mix. The food was wonderful. The Irish lamb stew was wonderful and the Guinness beef stew was wonderful with the bread served with it. The fish and chips were good, but not the best I had while in Ireland. We returned for a late night drink and the place was overrun with locals. That made our night. Sitting and listening to the wonderful conversations and feeling like we just belonged in Dublin. Super friendly when we entered and offered great seating options. Service is always slow in Europe, expect it and just fit in with it. It is great to sit and eat and listen and enjoy without feeling rushed! Placed our $1.00 bill on the wall and thanked everyone for a great time. DON'T MISS THIS PUB!

Popped in for a drink on a recommendation from someone. A maze of a place, great decor and vibe. Lovely staff. We came on a Thursday teatime in July and it was very busy.

My family (age range 53-82) visited the Hairy Lemon during our 10 day stay in Dublin. The visit has become family lore, a tale the grandkids will forever tell “the dark and stormy night Grandma left her underpants at the Hairy Lemon”. I’ve since ordered merch from the website, delivered home to the US very quickly and well packaged. Should they ever begin selling undergarments, we'll take a set for the whole family😂 Incomparable service, top-notch elder care, and a beacon of warmth and light should you ever find yourself needing a soft place to land on a damp Dublin evening ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
