Lovely local spot in palmerstown. What keeps us coming back is Joe. What a bar man! Old school, sees you coming and is pouring your drink before you even open your mouth! Good atmosphere with the staff, having the craic but getting the job done. The theme tune to Cheers is in my head as I write this! if I owned a bar he would be my number one employee so personable

We’ve just finished a fantastic dinner at Palmerstown House. As locals, we visit regularly, but tonight’s experience was genuinely the best we’ve ever had, by a country mile! We were looked after by Peter, who we understand is currently the new restaurant manager, and he was exceptional from start to finish. His attention to detail is outstanding, nothing was overlooked, and everything felt effortless. He is warm, engaging, and brings a great sense of humour that really adds to the whole experience. What stood out most was how he creates such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere while still delivering a very high level of service. It is rare to come across someone who balances professionalism and personality so well. He is a real credit to himself and to Palmerstown House. We genuinely could not speak more highly of the service we received and hope to see him there again soon

I am a regular in the pub, maybe once or twice a month. I love the sunday roast in the restaraunt. Over the last month the service has improved so much. Every single customer is looked after and checked back on. I have been in plenty of restaurants and have given honest opinions however when I visited the palmerstown pub I was looked after from the second I step my foot in. I would highly recommend the service standards for a pub. I was served by Peter whom i believe is the new manager. He is great craick and very professional.

Had a wonderful meal recently with partner, food was fresh and flavourful service was great and we noticed the food has greatly improved in quality and we will definitely return.
