The hotel has a lot of charm from the outside. It is a beautiful and well-kept property. The rooms are really a bit old and could be a bit larger for a family of four. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was also clean. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Personally, we thought the breakfast was good because it was typically Irish. When has it ever happened that it is almost 100% typical of the country? We were allowed to get as much as we wanted. It tasted very good and really kept me full for a long time. The staff was incredibly nice. We got our drinks free for lunch on the first day and our son also got a hot cocoa free in the very nice hotel bar. I have never experienced anything like this in Germany. Our English is not that good and the staff was really patient and responsive to our requests and needs. We felt very comfortable. We cannot understand the many bad reviews. We felt very well looked after. And we thank you for the wonderful time there.

Terrible hotel, dirty rooms, crap beds and the food is a disaster.
Bar closed at 10pm and staff are badly trained, it took 3 walks upstairs before they got my room right first 2 were occupied.
Do not go here, it is 3rd world bad..noisy machines outside window, pay the extra and get a proper hotel.
Disgusting experience, never again. Matt

Structure with numerous springs behind it and the sixties style furnishings show them all. It has a pub where you can eat until 9pm. Valid if you arrive late by plane to Dublin because it is 17 km from the airport and can be reached in 10 minutes on the main road.

I ordered four Christmas dinners for collection on Christmas Eve and can honestly say they were absolutely delicious and superb value for money. Not only were they fresh tasting and filling, even on St. Stephen’s Day, but the members of staff who organised for me couldn’t have been more friendly. I can’t recommend highly enough. Happy New Year!

Staff are amazing, nothing too much. Down side with location its 20 minutes outside the city centre, if they decide to utilise the mini bus again to run guests to and from city centre, train station shopping centre or even an excursion for a nominal fee which in turn could back into the maintence etc. of the vehicle that would bring in extra revenue to have at least two mini buses on the go. It could also potentially attract external customers to eat there too.
