We stayed for 4 nights and our opinion is very mixed for several reasons:
- Positive: The ladies at reception are incredible, patient, kind, provide lots of explanations, and are always available with a smile! One of them even lent us a transport card, thank you so much!
The room is cleaned daily and is spotless.
It's close to the main road, which is convenient for getting around, and you can't hear the traffic from the room. There's also transport nearby to get to Dublin city center.
The reception staff were incredibly responsive; we needed a takeaway breakfast for our departure day, and it was fantastic, thank you!
We tried the bar/restaurant once and had a good meal. The servers were very friendly, and the food was tasty and well-presented!
- Negatives: The advertised all-you-can-eat breakfast only included a few items (yogurt, bread, cereal, juice, fruit). The restaurant only served one plate per person. This should have been mentioned upfront to avoid disappointment. The breakfast staff were not at all welcoming, spoke aggressively, had no patience, and some tables weren't clean.
The ventilation system was incredibly noisy and took ages to turn off. The hallway lights weren't automatic and no one ever turned them off, so it was literally daylight in the room. We also heard our neighbors a lot one night, which I think was when there was an event, so the hotel must have been full.
The bed was really small.
In short, for the price we paid, we were quite disappointed with our stay, even though there were some positive aspects.
