Ha'Penny Bridge Inn in Dublin

A great place with super friendly staff

Just a stone's throw from Temple Bar, and opposite the famous Ha'penny Bridge (which thankfully is free), is a true Irish pub that tells the story of the Republic through photos and posters. I went back after 20 years; it's still as simple and welcoming as ever. I discovered O'Hara's stout there—not exactly new, having arrived in the 2000s, but it just goes to show how long it had been since I'd been back ;-)

We had the mist amazing sandwiches when we were there. Of course the Guinness was great.

This is the pub to be in while around Temple Bar as we were there every night when we visited. Great friendly service including wonderful live music Irish performances. It got the busiest on a Saturday but still really a fun time. We came back every night on the weekend because of the performer, Patrick Caroline including the regular bartenders they poured the perfect Guinness. Also having a lovely chat with Shawn about visiting a bar in NY his friend owns.

Right across from the Hayl'penny Bridge but just far enough off of Temple Bar that it can be slightly quieter. Excellent music upatairs and TVs showing sport on the ground floor.

Good time and good music by the Gladstone Band.

This was a great stop on our pub crawl in Dublin. Very great atmosphere. Learned out to our a pint even. Would highly recommend a visit here

The owner Sean and his employees are nothing but a damn good time in there😁 they play music and it was the best bar I went into in Dublin. I had been there for over a week when I discovered it. Do yourself a favor and go in there and see Sean and his employees and enjoy the view and music! TOP NOTCH!!!

We’ve been there every day during our 3 days trip to Dublin. Such kind staff, and while in the middle of busy Temple Bar, and authentic atmosphere! Definitly would recommend!
