I'm actually a fan of Hard Rock Cafes. But the prices they've been charging here lately are pretty outrageous. The food was good as usual, and the service was very friendly. But the prices for the food and the T-shirts are absolutely ridiculous.

Visited Hard Rock Dublin for breakfast. Service very good, staff super friendly. Wife had pancakes which looked great. I had a full Irish, very good overall could have done with some black pudding and the sausage could have been better, but bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomato, lightly fried toast all great, reasonable portion size. The shop attached is a bit of a shocker, looked at getting a Hard Rock Dublin teddy bear for the kid but at 30 Euros for a very small teddy decided to give it a miss. There is paying a bit extra for the brand and then there is blatantly taking the mick.

We visited Hardcastle during our time in Dublin and found it… fine. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong, but nothing really stood out either. The food and service were okay, but compared to other places we tried in the city, it felt a bit underwhelming. If you’re looking for something familiar and comfortable, it’ll probably hit the mark. But if you’re after something unique, exciting, or truly memorable, there are definitely better options nearby. Not a bad stop if you’re in the area and want something safe and predictable, just don’t expect to be wowed.
