The Hard Rock Café in Dublin, located in the heart of Temple Bar, on Fleet Street, is a must-see for lovers of music and rock culture. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, with a decor that blends industrial and vintage elements, enriched by a unique collection of memorabilia belonging to world-famous artists.
Among the most iconic pieces present in the venue, the bass guitar that belonged to Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy stands out, a symbol of Irish musical heritage. An entire area is dedicated to Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries, with autographed lyrics and commemorative photographs. There is no shortage of tributes to U2, with Bono's glasses displayed in a display case and a section of the venue enriched by quotes from the song "One". In the past, there was also the famous suspended Trabant, now removed, but the bond with the band remains strong.
Among the international memorabilia are the original boots worn by Paul McCartney, a 1950s jacket that belonged to Elvis Presley and a stage shirt used by Jimi Hendrix. The walls are also decorated with items belonging to Madonna, Eminem, Aerosmith, AC/DC, The Who, George Lynch, Motley Crue and Billy Joel, including stage jackets, musical instruments and vintage photographs. All the memorabilia is displayed in illuminated display cases, well preserved and cared for in detail, although in some cases difficult to photograph due to the reflections.
The venue is spread over two floors: on the ground floor is the bar and the restaurant area, while on the lower floor you can admire additional collectibles. The experience is enriched by monitors that broadcast music videos and live music events that are held several times a week, helping to create an energetic and engaging atmosphere.
The kitchen offers classic American-style dishes, including burgers, ribs, fajitas, mac 'n' cheese and salads. The service is courteous and professional, with generally short waiting times. Prices are in line with the brand's international format.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to eat there this time, so we can only comment on the interior. Small but nice.

Lekker zoals steeds !
