Hargadons Bros in Sligo

Went for lunch with my son, daughter and newborn grand children...what fantastic experience from the staff to the character of the pla and of course the food! The menu is extensive and our food was top class

Lovely find. Delicious food and warm staff. I had the steak sandwich, which was fabulous. Lovely decor in the pub, well kept. Will have to return for a few pints.

Nice pub but definitely more suitable for food than drinks. If you’re not eating you have very limited space down the front

This was a very disappointing visit. We did not have a reservation so we were happy to be seated after 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the table was next to toilets. There did not seem to be anyone assigned to our table as we went through 4 different wait staff, some who were not aware of what we had told the other. Waited too long for a menu, our drinks, to place an order, to order after dinner drinks. My husband ordered the prime rib @ €22. He was given a piece of beef which we felt must have been a thin piece of prime but couldn't be sure as no one ever stopped by to check on us. We assumed that the server had ordered the correct thing. However, we were billed for a steak, which was €32. When we objected, we were told we should have said something earlier! To who? The steak sandwich I had and the desserts were very good. My husband, who was mistakenly given the wrong order, found his meat somewhat grizzly but othherwise ok.They were very busy that night and it was the holidays, so we understood some of this. But if we had one server, who knew what they were doing and paid attention to us, we think the mistake would not have taken place. Needless to say, we wouldn't return to this restaurant.

Definitely a good to for food and ambience

Good food, good vibes, & a damn fine pint of pure!

This is definitely worth visiting while in Sligo great food and drink

Lovely evening, absolutely the best service from the team, it’s a great place so cosy and dark and warm If you go here you have to have the Pecan Coffee Mousse
