Hargadons Bros in Sligo

Wow! We visited Sligo for a friends wedding, the Airbnb host recommended this place. We were not disappointed. Really warm atmosphere, top notch Guinness and Irish coffee, and the food was sublime. I got the grilled Irish steak sandwich (a whole steak on ciabatta with wild shrooms onions etc) and the wife had Korean wings. Would 100% recommend

'Just a quick visit this time, 5pm, no reservation made beforehand. We had their renowned Seafood Chowder with their treacle bread....it hit the spot perfectly as always......🤗

Wow! We didn't have a reservation; but, they were able to squeeze us in. We just came for a pint and the trad session; but, couldn't resist ordering the camembert. A-May-Zing!!! Then we had to order the sticky wings and they were impressive as well. And, so much fun to listen to the superb trad session and wash everything down with a couple of pints (Guinness and Orchard Thieves). Well Done :)

So many incredible menu options. I settled on the seafood chowder, oysters and Camembert app. Every bite was beyond delicious and tasty. I also enjoyed the gin recommendation of our delightful and helpful server. All that said, the crowning jewel is the historic atmosphere. Highest recommendation for this pub!
