Harp Tavern in Sligo

Such a warm welcome, a lovely cosy bar and top drawer food!! hadn't eaten in here in awhile (I love the Bacon & Cabbage), and was in this week. The staff are all so chatty and welcoming (especially the legendary Ann - you won't forget her craic, if you meet her). It's a lovely cosy space with lots of little corners and snugs to relax and have a chat. All the staff on the night were extremely helpful and on 3 occasions staff asked if we were all good for everything! I only took a pic of the dessert, which was a Rocher Cheesecake. This place does food right. Good variety, proper portions, and well cooked. Located ultra centrally in Town centre. Beside taxi rank and shops.

Really top quality pub food, served by great friendly staff who are engaging and bounce of each other well. Thoroughly recommmend.

Great service from the staff food was excellent and never had potatoes as hot in a restaurant before the lamb fell off the bone well do keep it up

A very busy spot,was told food would be 20min wait as everything is cooked fresh ,so true waited and omg everything from the curry ,burgers and fish came out piping hot.Would definitely go there again

Hands down, it’s such a great place! ❤️ The menu range is good to choose from, and when you order the food, you expect common pub dishes, but when they appear on your table, you are pleasantly surprised because it is so yummy and, most importantly, fresh, prepared from the knife. No rush once you're at this tavern - enjoy! My first time in Sligo, and I found this gem - many thanks to all the staff 🤗

Pleasant and attentive servers. Very hearty meal, and reasonable price.

The food was very good and it was a lovely pub...however as Canadians visiting we did not feel welcome. From the moment we came through the door a lady was yelling at us to shut the door. A young lady then told us to sit at the bar while she got what I imagined was the only available table cleaned. She then proceeded to say "you two, here" and pointed at the table. The table beside us came in after us and they had drinks and food before we received drinks. Was not the Irish hospitality we received other places.

Thank you ann and staff for the service we received at a family gathering on Monday night the food was fantastic and the service was brillant yeah couldn't do enough for us we will definitely be back
