Lovely atmosphere. The two waitresses (sisters) were very efficient and friendly considering how many people they had to look after Portion sizes were good, except for the fish and chips, it was WAY too big. Will definitely be calling again.

This used to be a really nice place to eat but the quality of food has really gone down hill. Such a pity.

Very good service, nice place to eat. Steak really good. However, one main course came out 15 minutes after the other ones. Reason given was chicken for the salad was overcooked and this may be true as my chicken wrapped in Parma ham was away overdone but served. It was edible but lacked real flavour because of this.

It was a wonderful experience, the atmosphere of a countryside Irish pub was comforting, the food wad gorgeous , especially the Steak on the stone, home burger was nice too. Also want to say thank for the great costumer service.

Food that's on par with the best out there. Have been here a few times and never been let down by the quality and taste of the food. A bit out of the way but worth it and plenty of parking available.

Food was delicious, atmosphere was typical of an Irish "country" pub in the most complimentary of ways, and the service was delightful—especially when it came to Ava as a server, she deserves extra credit for her attentiveness and good humour in dealing with our group ☺️ Have never been disappointed with the Hatchet in my many trips there for dinner and drinks, and I doubt I ever will! Well worth the drive out every time!

Just in from another lovely evening in The Hatchet! Food, as always, was amazing! Cocktails were just so!!! And our waitress, Ava, was absolutely 10/10!! Brilliant evening - we will be back!

Had chicken wings, pizzas and fish n chips. All very nice. Lovely evening so ate outside- nice outdoor area. Inside nicely decorated and spacious. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Such lovely and filling food and such lovely service and atmosphere, the waitress Aaron was great to us yesterday and made me and my two friends feel so welcomed at our table so lively and full of chat he was!!
