8 of us came here over Christmas for some lunch, we were expecting to go to the bistro but it was closed and actually the bar had a better atmosphere. Service was good and food was prompt. Nice menu, typical gastro pub and all dishes were good. Sticky toffee pudding was a little let down but the rest was good. Wings were nice and crispy, pasta dishes were tasty, steaks were cooked well, some of the items on menu were not availiable on this particular day. Specials also nice.
