Hazel Mountain Chocolate in

We stopped here on a tour on the way to Cliffs of Moher. It was a cool stop where the owner came out quickly talked about his chocolates and history. But when we all went to buy their coffee beverages and baked goods, everything was basically sold out. Then by the time you get to the till they tell you they don't accept cash. I waited in line for so long that I wish they could have kind of made that known to the line that wrapped to the outside. By the time the last baked good was gone I didn't care and the staff wasn't that welcoming. Also, wanted a tip after telling you it's no cash when you reached the front of the line. The bathrooms didn't have toilet paper and everyone had to wait for a certain stall. First time this happened on the whole trip.

A lovely cafe with great atmosphere and an even better view. They also have a wonderful chocolate shop that’s definitely worth checking out.

Great tasting chocolate. However, their claim they are the only bean to bar chocolatier in all of Ireland isn't true. Their claim they're the only chocolatier using Irish milk is also not true.

Definitely on the expensive side. I got the chocolate bar it is very small amount of it and very thin but definitely tastes like a real chocolate!!!😋

I highly recommend paying a visit to Hazel Mountain Chocolate. They explain all things chocolate and offer tastings. You'll be amazed that you can taste different flavours even though you are only tasting chocolate without any additives! It's like wine and coffee - based on the terroir. And treat yourself to the best hot chocolate in the world, especially the hot dark chocolate, definitely a treat not to be missed.

We stopped by briefly today and were thrilled. We received a short introduction to chocolate making and were able to sample several varieties. The café next door was also fantastic!
