I was in Hemmingway's last night with my wife for an unbooked and unplanned one-couse meal at 20:30.
Michelle was doing front-of-house on her own: meet and greet, taking food and drinks orders, delivering food and drinks, clearing tables etc. for a total of eight tables!
What a legend! So friendly and efficient.
Plus the food was fab! I had the Seafood Paella and my wife had the Tempura Prawns. Both were yummy and excellent value for money.
A well-deserved 5 stars! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Nos topamos con este restaurante de pescado mientras estábamos de paseo en Clontarf un domingo, y nos alegramos de haberlo hecho. Tiene una entrada poco imponente - no necesita una, ya que la comida habla por sí misma. El ambiente era perfecto, el vino sabroso y la comida excelente. El servicio era amable y justo el lado derecho de no intrusivo.
Tuvimos Langostinos a la Espanola y Picador de Mariscos para empezar. Deliciosa. Seguido de esto con Paella de Marisco y Bacalao Signature. Recomendaría encarecidamente todos los platos, impecable.
Definitivamente volveré.

We organised a large group of 17 for a get together for our drama group here last night. We had a great value set menu which provided a nice variety. The owner and the rest of the team provided fantastic, attentive service throughout the meal. The food was of a very high standard. Best duck I've had in a long time. Was very busy at 6pm on a Saturday which is a good sign. Would highly recommend.

Atmosphere, service and food. We shared the appetizer, which was delicious, served with a dill sauce and a sweet chile sauce.
I had the special surf and turf which was an 8 oz sirloin(cooked to a perfect medium rare), presented on perfectly cooked parsnip, carrot and broccoli spears, mussels and shrimps, with a potato side.
Host and waitress treated us as old friends. Welcoming us and conversational through the whole meal, even though every table was full and place was packed.
Do not skip this most pleasant experience!
