Hennessys in Ferbane

Enjoyed a meal in Hennesy's last night. There was a great atmosphere as it was full. We had to wait a while but didn't mind as it was worth the wait. The five of us were all impressed with the food. The only negative..the Christmas decorations- early November is too early for me!

Heard great things about this spot, so we said we would try it out. Staff were very busy but accommodated us straight away and service was quick. We ordered 2 dinners and they tasted good although we didn't really like the gravy but that could be a personal choice. We felt portions of mash and turkey/ham were very small for a Sunday roast. We were lucky we ordered a side of chips as they bulked it up and the chips were fab. Point to note: Bigger jugs for water would save staff alot of extra work.

Every dish cooked perfectly. The lamb medium was excellent. Fish with samphire is really good. Great menu choice. Highly recommended. I am sure it would be fabulous in the restaurant but suited us to do a family meal at home.

I haven't been here since pre-covid and had never eaten here before. I've been missing out. Excellent welcoming from the get go and lovely dining area. We were seated and looked after straight away. Starter was amazing and as for the meal, oh wow. I will be back as I'm still impressed with the level of customer service as the waitresses looked after us above and beyond. Well done to the staff and proprietors at Hennesys Ferbane. 👌👍👏👏

Amazing food... everything very tasty fresh with loads of flavour. Excellent service, staff very friendly and professional. Try the special Fillet of cod with saffron risotto, very good. Steak was cooked to a perfection.

A little off the beaten path, but we made the detour as Hennessy is our family’s maiden name. The food was very good. We had a few fish and chips and they certainly hit the spot. Everything else ordered, including vegetarian options, was worth the price of admission. I’d go back again and get dessert next time!

Had lunch and some Family & Friend's Gatherings here and the Food was just top notch! Lovely atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and the service is fast and the whole setting is comfortable and warming.love this place it will not disappoint you.
