The owner is very, very nice, a true Irish original. We came here on the recommendation of friends and felt very comfortable. Everyone else had great poached eggs, but mine unfortunately weren't runny at all.

Passing through Dublin for three days, we had breakfast two days at High Nelly's with the "Full Irish" option. The portions were generous for a very reasonable price. The staff were welcoming and friendly. A simple and authentic place, perfect for a local experience.

Lovely family-owned spot for an authentic Irish breakfast experience. Everything is quick, fresh and super tasty. And everyone is so welcoming. Definitely recommend

Green Man Wines

05/05/2026: Excellent food and, of course, wine. Staff were very accommodating and sweet. They fit us in on my birthday. Will be back!
02/05/2026: Lovely evening here recently. A small but imaginative menu- tried pretty much all of the hot dishes and they were all excellent, particularly the hake and the purple sprouted broccoli. Fabulous selection of wines and friendly, knowledgeable staff who are happy to help. I'll definitely be back.
