I went here based on another review, was going to take a picture but ate the food too fast 😆 Fantastic food, fresh, authentic - best Pad Thai I’ve had in years.

Pleasantly surprised, Thai Baan Cafe Thai food was very authentic and delightful. We felt like we were eating in a Thai Restaurant in Bangkok when we were there on holiday. My husband ordered minced pork Krapao/ Basil on rice. The flavor was very good and real. I felt the same for the noodle dish I ordered. The owners /operators were gracious, kind, friendly, and accommodating to our choice of food to our liking. They both were Native Thai to begin with. We happened to pop in for a quick meal on the way to the Leprechaun Museum, and it was the right call. We were both so pleased with the taste of the food, and would come back in a heartbeat when the craving for Thai food get the best of me. Check it out and proof me wrong. Highly recommended.

I walked in and was immediately greeted with friendly service by the Thai owners. The menu offers many dishes that typical Thai restaurants abroad don’t usually have, such as Thai chicken rice, tom yum noodles, and braised pork rice. The flavors are phenomenal and truly authentic. The prices are very reasonable for the portions you get. This is the only place in Dublin where you’ll find authentic Thai food!

Wow, just got a takeaway from here, chicken pad krapow. Really nice and authentic taste, proper Thai herbs, sauce, as I remember it from my holiday in Thailand. Will make sure to order from or visit this place again. Looking forward to trying the other dishes! What a nice discovery, much better than the quasi-Thai but actually Chinese place around the corner! Try and support proper real Thai food here, folks!

We chose this place for a takeout based on the strong reviews. However we were quite disappointed. Jasmine rice was overcooked and tasted like basic white rice. Stir fry cashews, tofu and veggies were only so-so taste wise and while the portion of rice was massive, the tofu and veggies felt a bit stingy.

Vintage Cocktail Club

14/04/2026: If this isn’t the best cocktail bar in the world then it certainly belongs in the discussion. I came back two nights in a row because I loved it so much. The bartender, Rog, is a delight to talk to and has a deep knowledge of how to make a great drink. If you have the chance to sit by the bar, take it so you can appreciate his craft. The menu is extensive and phenomenal. Between my two nights I probably had about eight different cocktails, each one better than the last. I consider this place a must-visit for anyone in Dublin. Be sure to make a reservation before you go!
12/04/2026: Vintage Cocktail Club is a hidden gem tucked right in the heart of Temple Bar — a neighbourhood usually known for loud, busy pubs. This speakeasy offers a completely different experience and is the perfect way to end a day exploring Dublin. There’s no sign out front — just a black door marked “VCC.” You buzz in, and once inside, you’re transported into a moody, upscale space spread across multiple levels. It’s intimate, refined, and feels like a true escape from the chaos outside. The cocktails were expertly crafted. We had the Manhattan and the French 75 — both well-balanced, smooth, and executed at a high level. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server was personable, professional, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall atmosphere. A must-visit in Dublin if you’re looking for something beyond the typical pub scene.
