Hillbilly's Family Restaurants in Dublin

I ordered takeaway. I had never had food from here before. It was very good. Very tasty and satisfying. It's a step above chipper chicken. I had the variety box with chicken tenders and some chicken thighs. The chips and gravy are delicious too. Also it's fairly priced as well. I will be ordering again.

Went to Hillbillys yesterday 'Rathmines ' for the first time, ordered a dinner box for takeaway, the girl who took my order was very friendly and helpful when I asked her for particular pieces of chicken, I could see that the man doing the cooking was quick and efficient, the only way knock back was the gravy ,as a regular in older established chicken franchises, Hillbillys gravy was a disappointment, their gravy was much too thick and the taste did not reflect the wonderful taste of the chicken and flavoured coating, gravy has to be thick but it also has to be able to flow ,the consistency of this gravy was unfortunately like cement, the dinner box was excellent, staff were really pleasant, get the gravy right, consistency and more flavour and this place will be a winner, John
