Hillgrove Hotel Leisure Club in Monaghan

I had my childs 1st communion here and also child birthday party and I have to admit it was well done and very nice, it's reasonably priced the you get the hotel experience and nice for the adults as well, nice food well presente.

Nice, interesting place to take a walk or have a glass of wine in one of the small restaurants. The hotel is a bit older, but extremely comfortable and the spa and swimming area invites you to relax and swim

You respond that masks are advised not compulsory. Not the actuation when I stayed.

The best hotel in Monaghan. Very good facilities, rooms and restaurant/bar.

Great stay at the Hillgrove. A warm welcome from reception staff and a nice warm room. Outdoor jacuzzi was great followed by a few laps in the heated pool. Staff were very helpful. Dinner in PKs was fantastic, staff here also very good. Bar staff very efficient and drinks all fresh and well presented. A great night's sleep was followed by a very tasty fresh breakfast. Staff at breakfast were so helpful too. Will visit again thank you

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hillgrove Hotel on NYE 2024 and can not praise the hotel enough for everything they did for us. Dean and his team were an absolute joy to deal with and made the whole experience so seamless and enjoyable. From organising and guiding us with ideas, hosting us for the menu sampling and putting on the most amazing day both my wife and I can only say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We were treated like royalty for the duration of our stay and nothing was too much of an ask. All of our guests were equally complimentary about the location, staff and facilities that were provided. Anoja and Breda in the office were absolutely amazing in helping us arrange accommodation for our guests at the busiest time of year and made our stresses disappear with how helpful they were. We couldn’t recommend the Hillgrove Hotel highly enough and can’t wait to come back and visit. They say you can judge a hotel by its staff and if that is the case it’s up there with the finest of hotels in Ireland. Thank you all for helping us have the most amazing day with our nearest and dearest.

My sister and I had Sunday lunch today 5/1/25, in the Bistro. Excellent food and attentive service. But we were alarmed and disgusted at the price of a glass of house wine: €8.50 per glass. We thought this was outrageous and complained later to the duty manager.

A great hotel the staff are very friendly and helpful the food is excellent would definitely recommend and would stay again
