Very nice place. Great atmosphere, there is a gym for those who like to exercise constantly, Spa and jacuzzi. The food in the restaurant is really delicious. Quiet and peaceful place. I recommend 😁

Beautiful hotel in great location on Lough Ree , in the heart of Ireland . Athlone & Roscommon are nearby & full of interesting history & fantastic restaurants. Would highly recommend . John Mc Garrity .

I personally have known the hotel since I was 3 years old. Of course the “old” building cannot be compared with the new buildings, but 1. For me, this is exactly what makes the hotel so charming in its location. 2. Next to the old building, a very large new building was built a few years ago. This contains everything the “modern” heart desires. Basically: You come into the hotel and you feel comfortable. It's typically Irish. Always friendly and helpful, but also with Irish calm. For me it's a feeling of deceleration and I love it. There's always something going on in the hotel bar. The food there is also highly recommended. Then, with the pint in your hand, let your gaze glide over the water from the bar. Any time...
