Honey Honey Cafe in Portmarnock

Lovely space and good coffee, but the service was disappointing. Staff seemed quite unfriendly and didn’t greet customers.

They make really good coffee and I’m glad that they also offer iced coffee as well. Kind of hard to find that in a small town I also like the variety of Matcha flavors they had and I am so mad that I didn’t get to try the lemon and honey Matcha while I was there. I also had a delicious frittata it was so good, I don’t think I’ve ever had a frittata thattasty. My only issue is I think they close the kitchen after a certain time because every time I get there in the afternoon, they never have hot food available because the kitchen is closed. Sitting area gets filled up pretty quickly, so it can get a little cramped, but there are little barstools for people dining solo as well as little tiny desks. It’s nice to see a variety of patrons just enjoying a book to read or on their computer, a generally nice atmosphere.

They make their €5.50 matchas using a squirty deli bottle and they don’t taste great. Service wasn’t great either.

Service was great; hot chocolate seemed to be a honey honey special which is always appreciated over the usual powder mixes.

Lovely tasty sandwich and wraps. Coffee was good too.

Lovely cozy place, near Portmarnock Beach and lovely little walks. Popped in after a fossil event and got the avocado toast and frittata. Gluten free bread available. Really tasty frittata and avocado toast was good too. Solid coffee. Would definitely come back with friends and happy to see at least two gluten free sweet options as well in the counter. But cross contamination not ensured.

This place is really cosy and welcoming. The coffee is really good and the food is great. I think the porridge or the breakfast bap are standouts for me. My brother LOVED the vegan avo on toast.
