Lovely staff in hook & ladder corbally. I was out running & ran out of water. Sun was splitting the rocks so I ran into h&l to ask for water. Two lovely staff members let me fill my water bottle & even offered me ice. Really appreciated that especially in this very hot weather

I am so impressed by this little gem of a place. Great vibes, tasty, well-prepared food, and staff that are capable and friendly. It will certainly be added to my list of places to take friends and visitors to.

Excellent staff. Very welcoming. Great choice on menu. Nice atmpsphere especially for meeting up with friends. Lovely location. Parking is to the side of the pub beside it so good to know.

o'connors bakery

16/07/2026: O’Connors Bakery is a fantastic old‑school bakery/café, the kind that’s becoming rare. Their jam donuts are always fresh and full of flavour, and the crispy bread rolls are consistently perfect. It’s also a great place to stop in town for a sandwich and cup of tea. Friendly staff, great quality, and a proper local feel. Highly recommended.
