Hook & Ladder Castletroy in Limerick

Amazing food. But the prices can be on the higher side. Good quality healthy food though. Perfect spot for brunch. Also really strong coffee beans available to buy for home.

Highly recommend there cinnamon and date scones, no place does them as good as hook and ladder.

I went there for a work lunch, it was very busy, which meant very noisy, where we were sat was quite open plan which meant that we nearly had to shout to hear each other, there are some booths and I think if you were sat in there you would not have the same problem. After a while, you kind of get used to the noise. We didn't have to wait too long for a table, roughly 5 minutes which wasn't too bad, we were sat quite close to the entrance from the mall side so we could see people coming in and nobody waited much longer than we did to get a seat. I had a chicken burger and loaded fries which were both very nice, one slight thing just for me is the menu is not huge and the chicken burger was probably the only thing that I would have ordered (from the lunch section). This resonated more when my guests both ordered exactly the same as me. They both agreed that the burger was very nice. The breakfast menu looks excellent and I will be back to try that next time.
