Hook & Ladder Castletroy in Limerick

Gorgeous food. Lovely staff. Highly recommend for a good breakfast ❤️

We ordered the beans on toast and the buddha bowl (both vegan). The toast was soaked through with the liquid meaning we had to use a fork and knife to eat it. The beans were lukewarm and kinda hard (like they had just been taken out of a can and hastily heated up). The Buddha bowl was fine, nothing super noteworthy. Service was pretty slow and we had to flag down staff multiple times to get water and our bill. The space itself is nice, but I wish they spent the same effort on the actual food to improve flavors!

Nice cup of coffee and excellent Irish tea. However carrot cake was virtually rock hard and not very nice. They did offer a few things as replacement but we were a bit put off. Staff nice enough though.

Quality produce which makes the breakfast excellent. Excellent coffee. A bit of a wait for a table but expected when the food is good.

Very busy there... food was divine... could not fault it

Breakfast without tea or coffee is unforgivable

This is an beautiful place to eat at any time, good staff, and the best of food.

Food is lovely and fresh. Staff very friendly.
