Sorted us out on our travels, we were looking for somewhere with a nice Irish breakfast early in the morning & this place couldn't have been more spot on. Lovely pot of tea & fry and nice warm atmosphere.

Breakfast was amazing! We did Vegetarian, Standard and Large Sets. Coffee, tea. Great service. Additional hot water or milk free of charge.

Highly recommend the bacon and cabbage! One of the pubs told us to go to horse and pound for the best food and they did not steer us wrong. Apparently, Limerick is famous for its bacon and cabbage.

12/09/2026: Fabulous experience with a big family group , the staff were amazing especially the lad waiter today which unfortunately didn’t get his name but extremely helpful. The food was lovely and the cocktails amazing!!!

The Old Quarter

07/09/2026: Great place for lunch or just having some drinks and watch a match. Food was excellent and prices average. A minute from the shopping centre and the main street.
11/08/2026: I visited The Old Quarter pub this afternoon. The chicken burger was very tasty, I had mashed potatoes instead of fries. I was disappointed that the chicken fajitas aren’t on the menu anymore though.
