Just started to buy food from Host after living in clonsilla for the last 18 years. Well, it's better than all the competition, got food for a family of 4, lots and lots of food and it tastes so good, this is now my new go to.

Spicy chicken wings, fried rice, and duck in black pepper sauce. The sauce could be a bit thinner — it’s a bit too thick for my taste — and I’d like to see more vegetables. Black pepper — 👍 Chicken wings — 👍 Could be a bit more of them!

17/03/2026: Payed €9.50 for a spice bag today, brought it home just to realise the bag is literally half filled, was still left hungry after i ate it. Expensive enough for one spice bag as it is, but the fact it was only half full is kinda taking the piss. I’ll give them 3 stars because the food was nice, and it was St. Patrick’s day so they were probably up to their eyeballs in stress
03/02/2026: Was up by Dublin Formal Wear near the shop and decided to grab a takeaway from here. Food was lovely, fresh and piping hot, and the portion was great for the price. Service was quick and friendly too. I’ll definitely try other items from the menu.
