Came to Howard’s Way Churchtown with my family for Sunday brunch. The coffee and food was lovely but our attentions were more focused on the manager who was barking orders at his servers the whole time we were there. I can only describe his demeanour as akin to a prison guard on watch, waiting for a reason to crack the whip on his group of admittedly lovely but seemingly frightened servers. Surely there is a kinder approach to Howard getting his way!

Toddy's Bar

17/12/2024: We spent a lovely afternoon in Toddys Restaurant in the Gresham hotel Dublin. The staff were wonderful. The food was very nice. BUT when it came to giving a TIP the fabulous server informed us they are NOT given any tips which are included in you card payment only if you pay them cash. This is an abuse of their staff. I wonder how many tips are gone to line the pockets of the owners at the cost of some of the lowest paid staff. This is outrageous!!!!! I am so glad we asked the server before we paid the bill.
13/12/2024: I must have walked by Toddy's on my many Trips to Dublin. This time I decided to go in for lunch. What a really good restaurant, the food was excellent. I do have to mention the Apple and Rhubarb crumble it was amazing. I had lunch SIX times at Toddys during my visit.

12/12/2024: Highly recommend this place for a weekend brunch. Absolutely love it.
16/11/2024: Always a reliable place for a tasty lunch. The menu is small but the food is always tasty and clearly very fresh. Reasonably priced considering how generous the portion sizes are. Service can be a little slow at times but the staff are lovely.
