Clean, affordable large rooms. The staff, especially Tony Curtis, are professional, friendly, helpful, kind and funny! It made our short stay even better! Recommend this hotel for long or short stays.

Had afternoon tea for my Aunts 83rd birthday. I was delicious and loads of cakes .sandwiches. tea and coffee all at €17.50 a head. Very reasonable and the staff were lovely

No overnight stay to review rooms& service however had evening meal/dinner at hotel's steakhouse and am very pleased with both meal and service. The place was lively perhaps due to local events but I do see families with young children having a good time. Would certainly be returning to the hotel's restaurant. PS: price was reasonable.

20/11/2024: Lovely food with a great view of the river Shannon from the 1st floor restaurant. Excellent service and very reasonable prices.
07/11/2024: Delicious food. I served myself some exquisite gnocchi, and I prepare some very good ones, and my daughter a vegetable soup of the day and a tomato risotto. Everything was very good and the place was beautifully decorated with views and unbeatable service. Congratulations

20/10/2024: There was 24 of us… all ladies- every single one of us said it was yummy, affordable and enjoyable!! We had lovely experience with good service. Nothing was a problem. Table was booked for 2 hours which is plenty of time if You on time. We then moved to bar and had yummy cocktails!! Must try! We also had breakfast . Big selection of absolutely everything. Proper coffee!! Wow that was wow… many places ( hotels) do big pots of coffees which I find yucky… … if You coffee drinker - you know what i m talking about:-). Thank You George Hotel for everything!! Definitely will go back!
20/10/2024: The food was really nice, big portions. Cocktails were lovely. Service was great. 5 starts!
