LOVE THIS PLACE! Food was good, I had a great hot chocolate and the service was so good, I love the Italian girl, I think her name was myriam she's been so nice with me and my friends, I can't wait to go back, she was lovely.

As an Italian I confirm that carbonara is the real Italian carbonara! 🇮🇹 The chef who prepared it for us is from Rome so you can't get more than that. Very honest prices for an expensive city like Dublin.

Can’t get enough of this place… every visit is pleasant and worth it. The staff is the best! The 3 guys /girls and managers just make the atmosphere so welcoming and joyful authentic Italian space in Dublin… I love it! Definitely coming back 💯

Diamo 4 stelle perché sia il cappuccino che le brioche erano davvero buone! Peccato per la cameriera (italiana) che non aveva capito che fossimo italiani anche noi e mi ha dato della "rinco....ita" perché stavo aspettando davanti alla casa invece che al banco. Colazione ottima, senza insulti prima del caffè sarebbe stata da 5 stelle :)

08/11/2024: I had a lovely evening at Sophie’s Rooftop – the food was delicious as always, and the ambiance was fantastic. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the service. Despite my request to make the dessert a special birthday moment, the staff missed this detail. I understand they were busy, as the place was packed, but watching other tables receive birthday candles made it feel even more disheartening. I’m hoping this was just a one-off, and that next time will be as perfect as I know Sophie’s can be!

02/11/2024: Good fish and chips,but only in the context of Irish chippers. Irish chippers tend to have heavier, thicker, batter than those I grew up with in England, and I'm not a huge fan of that. The cod was nice, batter crispy and not too heavy, but not as good as Feeley's in Carlingford. The chips were actually slightly better, a little bit firmer, but portion size was smaller. The comparison is worthwhile, because they are both among the best chippers I've come across in Ireland, and both are a bit more expensive than the average. Don't take the atmosphere rating too seriously though, it's an open fronted Chipper with a counter and two serving staff; atmosphere isn't really something you should expect.
