Il Fornaio in Dublin

Our go to place for a delicious yet affordable pasta. They have a great variety of pastries particularly cannolis :) Coffee is also divine they also sell their own roasted beans for people that want to have their coffees at home. Their service is superb! Couldn’t commend the staff more very friendly and helpful. Sensational atmosphere! The place might be small, but it has such a great vibe in it.

Had the Carbonara and it was simply the best I have had outside Italy. Chef William killed it on the pasta. Seriously come by and try yourself. It's all freshly made.

Lovely little cafe in the heart of Dawson street, lovely staff and cosy booths in a covered outdoor corridor. Great if you want to sit outside in bad weather!

Mientras estaba en Dublín por el día arreglé encontrarme con un viejo amigo para ponerme al día. Este lugar era conveniente y tenía buenas críticas, así que lo elegimos. De alguna manera no fue una elección ideal. Es muy pequeño y el único asiento es sillas altas en un mostrador a lo largo de la pared lateral justo al lado del mostrador. La mayoría de los clientes están en para llevar, tanto ir y venir. Realmente no era el lugar ideal para sentarse y tener una larga charla. Dicho esto, el café es bueno y la gama de pasteles impresionante. Compré un paquete de sus propias galletas para llevar a casa que son deliciosos. Y el personal era muy agradable y amable. Hay otras sucursales más grandes de Il Fornaio, que no he probado, pero sin duda recomendaría College Green, aunque solo sea para llevar o un bocadillo rápido.

The sandwiches and the coffee are a must. Definitely give it a go for Macchiatto with Hazelnut.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Food was good, I had a great hot chocolate and the service was so good, I love the Italian girl, I think her name was myriam she's been so nice with me and my friends, I can't wait to go back, she was lovely.

As an Italian I confirm that carbonara is the real Italian carbonara! 🇮🇹 The chef who prepared it for us is from Rome so you can't get more than that. Very honest prices for an expensive city like Dublin.
