Il Vicoletto in Dublin

The e restaurant had a great ambience, food and service. The restaurant was tiny but very well decorated and nice lighting. The seating was very nostalgic and lively. The food tasted authentic and was very flavourful. There were vegetarian options and the risotto was a must try. The aubergine and cheese layers were exceptional as a starter. The service was very home-like and personal. The waitresses were well experienced in the food and hospitable. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get any pictures of the food itself.

A fabulous experience on my second visit and had the privilege of a good chat with Christian, the owner who cares deeply about providing excellent dishes in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely return whenever I'm next in Dublin.

Live this place, like a little corner of italy in dublin. Food is delicious and great wine selection. Tight seating but cosy atmosphere.

the only place outside of Italy I've had pasta as nice as in Italy. and it was not expensive! fantastic pistachio tiramisu

The appetizers were amazing, and the pasta had a perfect texture, though the portion was a bit small. I highly recommend trying their pistachio tiramisu and wine. Make sure to reserve a table in advance!

Very good Italian in the center of Dublin..

Great little restaurant with good food. Can't fault and would be returning.

My dad comes here all the time and has been getting on my case to visit it when I was next in Dublin so I came here purely just to shut him up. But having said that, I'm delighted I did. The service was excellent with very friendly staff, the menu options almost made it too difficult to choose, and the wine list is extensive and superb. The food was outstanding, especially the calamari. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town. And also, for Dublin prices, I think it was very reasonable too On a side note some of the 1 star reviews on here are hilarious. I would strongly recommend looking at the full profiles and other reviews of the clowns (and painfully unfunny wannabe comedians) who have criticised this restaurant because they're upset they don't serve Parmesan cheese with their mains. For those reviewers - if you want a tablespoon of dried Parmesan on your spaghetti bolognese, I suggest going to pizza express. For those of you who like authentic Italian cuisine, make sure you call in here.

This is a truly authentic Italian restaurant. We were a large group and opted for the set menu. Bruschetta was followed by a board of breasola, parm, gran padano, burrata and pine nuts in honey. This was followed by aubergine on tomato sauce and fantastic calamari. The main course had a variety of pastas and tagliata. The tagliata was excellent. A super pistachio tiramisu followed with coffee. A very pleasing meal and great value
