Absolutely astonishing. From the food to the service, absolutely perfect. A must have if you're in Dublin, pasta carbonara as main food and parmegiana as a starter food is to cry for more. GO!

Nice Italian restaurant in central Dublin, cozy atmosphere and amazing wine selection! I had carbonara ravioli which were delicious. If you are a fan of dessert, like me, you definitely have to try the pistachio tiramisu! Very particular! Little plus, friendly Italian owners!

A must visit if you love Italian cuisine served in a cosy restaurant with utmost love and care for food, company and atmosphere!
The food is simply delicious, I could eat the carbonara and the pistachio tiramisu every day!
The people at Il Vicoletto are super friendly and offer amazing service, making you feel that cosy, busy yet comforting Italian vibe the moment you sit down at your table.
Thank you for the amazing evening :)

We were lucky enough to have dinner at this cozy little Italian restaurant during our visit to Dublin, and the experience was simply unforgettable. The place has a special charm, with a warm atmosphere that invites you to stay. We were served by a guy, who seemed to be the owner, and his kindness and charisma made the night even more pleasant.
We decided to trust their recommendation, and it was the best decision. He took care of choosing the dishes for us, and every bite was a surprise. The pasta was spectacular, with authentic and perfectly balanced flavors, but what really stole the show was the risotto, probably the best I've had in a long time.
If you are looking for an authentic and memorable Italian dining experience in Dublin, this place is a must stop. Without a doubt, I would return a thousand times. Highly recommended!

Wee bit crowded almost living room sized restaurant with food that is straightforward Italian - simple ingredients, no fuss, just taste and quality. Good choice of wines.

We booked this, on a recommendation from out hotel concierge, and just loved every moment.
We were a large group of 6 on a busy Saturday night. Service wad kind and attentive. The food was outstanding. One diner ordered the steak and commented that "It was the best steak of his life". Many of us had the ravioli with carbonara sauce. It was delicious.
The restaurant is super small and energetic, so "eat it and beat it"...freeing up the table for the nest fortunate soul.

I am rather reluctant ever to give 5 stars, but Il Vicoletto totally deserves it. The restaurant is in a small side street just off the hectic Irish Pub zone of Temple Bar, a refuge from the noise and bustle. Most of the Italian restaurants in the area are primarily pizza joints, but this is certainly not. We started with the bread (with olive oil and balsamic vinegar), then the brosciutto. Main courses were the lobster ravioli and the vitello alla romano. Both superb. Great wine selection, and Peroni (of course). We finished with the chocolate fondant, with a limoncello. All for about 100 euros, which is excellent. Staff all Italian, friendly and helpful .. Restaurant is really small, and we lucked out to get a table without reservation. Tables rather tightly packed, but noise level was surprisingly low (for people used to US restaurants). Next time in Dublin we will be back!
