The most wonderful place I have ever stayed! This is my 3rd year of coming and I can’t wait until my next visit, the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and look happy which is a reflection on good management, food is excellent from breakfast / dinner and bar snacks. The views from room are spectacular and Inchydoney beach is probably my favourite beach in the world!!! Michelle oct 2025

Fabulous hotel..5 star treatment from the start..friendly and welcoming at reception..beautifully decorated rooms..amazing food especially in the Gulfstream restaurant and the views and beaches on the hotel doorstep simply are stunning. Will definitely be returning 😊

Everything is superb at this hotel - the food is outstanding, the decor is warm and inviting, the staff are professional and friendly. I cannot recommend Inchydoney Hotel enough it never disappoints. The location is just gorgeous and the pool is so relaxing. Clonakilty itself is a lovely authentic town.

Barack Obama Plaza

02/02/2026: Great little exhibit talking about the relationship between the countries, and showcasing the former president’s powerful oratory.
22/01/2026: Nice stop to have a quick snack at. There are plenty of food options, so everyone will find something here. There are also free toilets. The highlight for sure is the bronze statue of Barack and Michelle Obama in front of the gas station. When taking a tour from Dublin to the cliffs of Moher a lot of tours if not all of them will stop here. When stopping here definitely make sure to go visit the statue, ‘cause there’s no one as Irish as Barack Obama.
