Insomnia Coffee Company - Clontarf in Dublin

This feels like the local watering hole. The food is what you have come to expect from Insomnia (nothing more and nothing less), but the staff is absolutely wonderful. Also, the community congregates here, so it feels homey and cozy. It's a great place to spend a hour chatting with a friend over coffee.

Really nice options for food and drink, also lots of seasonal options and new drinks come out during summer/halloween/winter so it keeps the menu on exciting. The staff are really nice and I love going there on a Friday after school to grab a coffee and do some study there. Only problem is the price, it wouldn’t be an everyday thing for me, probably just once every couple weeks. It’s about €5.75 for the medium drink I normally get for example. I’d be cautious about the pricing but otherwise the food and drink is really good. Cakes are delicious most of the time, they’re normally very moist and soft. I would be cautious on what you order because some things (like the latte ice caps) can be too sweet to some people, but the latte is good coffee.
