26/08/2025: In for lunch today The food was tasty Good selection of teas, coffees, sandwiches etc , great big pot of tea for two. the most striking thing about here is the service, very few places can say they have the quality of staff as this place has,owners are lucky to have the hard working ,Polite , attentive staff they have Will def be back when I’m in the area again.

05/05/2026: Absolutely delicious! The fresh cod was the best I’ve in years, so fresh, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The onion rings were amazing too—crispy, golden, and full of flavour. Highly recommended
30/04/2026: If you’re in Monaghan and craving proper fish and chips, you won’t be disappointed. freshly battered fish and home made chips best I tasted for a long time. Portions are generous and service was Excellent.
