Irish Potato Cake in Dublin

The place is very small but truly unique. The girl seated us, and we ordered the special Christmas potato cakes (really excellent) and a mixed platter to share so we could try a little bit of everything. I recommend stopping by, even just to grab the cakes to go and eat them on the go.

We came at a very busy time, however the waitresses quickly offered us a free table. Even though there was some confusion with our order and we were first served the wrong dish, the waitress Zlata personally handled the situation, she gave us a sincere apology and clearly explained the mistake. The place very cosy, and even though it was busy, the atmosphere was comfortable. We recommend to try their signature Irish Guinness Stew!❤️

An excellent place with a river view, cozy and comfortable. The staff is incredibly fast, friendly, and charming. For the Christmas season, they offered potato cakes with turkey, which were truly delicious and not to be missed. General recommendation: Potato cakes and a full Irish breakfast!

Very tasty breakfast and atmospheric place

This is a cozy, quaint spot in the hustle and bustle of Dublin City. As a Dub, I thought it would be way too touristy. But actually, it skirted the line between touristy, and just being a good restaurant in it's own right. The prices are good, the food is good and it's a lovely spot for a quick brunch / lunch. Big fan of potato cakes!

The food is very delicious, especially the Irish stew. The stuff is very friendly and the atmosphere and decorations are really impressive 😍

Mi marido y yo paramos aquí para almorzar un lunes por la tarde. Tuve que esperar unos minutos para una mesa, tienen 3 - 4 mesas exteriores y 5 en el interior. IT es un lugar pequeño, IT llena rápidamente. Ordenó los pasteles de tocino y patatas al queso para compartir, y cada uno obtuvo un jamón - queso - tostado de tomate (similar a un queso a la parrilla). También me dieron té para dos (que honestamente voy a beber IT todo yo mismo). Los pasteles de patata eran deliciosos, perfectamente condimentados y suaves. Las tostadas eran igualmente deliciosas, el pan era agradable y crujiente por fuera, el queso derretido por dentro. El té vino en una tetera de metal cubierta con un adorable zorro de lana acogedor. ¡Más de tres tazas solo para mí! Nos gustó mucho el ambiente y la decoración de este lugar - IT parece un todo en la pared, pero la comida es increíble, y había etiquetas de papel colgando por todas partes con palabras de elogio. Gente de todo el mundo diciendo lo mucho que aman a la Compañía Irlandesa de Patatas. Sin duda volvería a visitar este lugar de nuevo si nos alojamos en Dublín.

¡Estamos muy contentos de haber visto este restaurante tan lindo justo al final de nuestro viaje a Irlanda! Personal muy amable, precios razonables, comida deliciosa, ambiente acogedor y encantador. Nos encantó especialmente el té de oveja lanuda, ¡calentito en la tetera! 🐑
