Jack Meades Bar and Restaurant in Waterford

Great ambiance, friendly staff, and super cozy!

We (3 of us) had dinner and a dessert 🍨. All plates 🍽 cleared.

One of the best restaurants I've been too. Beautiful location, wheelchair friendly ♿️, fabulous variety of food, friendly staff. It's now the place I go for lunch in work as well as with Family. 10/10

We were with a tour and went to the old Jack Meades pub. We had an incredible time and Tom and George were fabulous. Great drinks, wonderful music, and a fabulous time overall! I highly recommend visiting!

Well, Jack meads outdone themselves this evening. Extra-generous portions indeed. Good food, as always.

We had excellent meals! I had the fish and chips and my wife had the roasted chicken. Both were great and excellent portions. The atmosphere was a not like an authentic pub, but still a good meal!

Lovely place to meet up with family and friends with the kids.

Authentic Irish food; I haven't had the opportunity to try such good meat (beef) anywhere else. Plus, they have a local burger bun (called Blaaa) and a wonderful Guinness. A very atmospheric place, with countryside views from the window, attentive service (which is the norm in Ireland), and a short wait (I was there at a time when it wasn't difficult to get a table, but I suspect it's busy during the summer months – and rightly so). PS: The portions are really large, so it's best to come here with a good appetite ;)
