First time in Jack Monday's. It's a good place for a late breakfast or lunch. We had nice food for lunch. I had a wrap and my wife had a club sandwich. It came with salad and cubed potatoes. The coffee (I had a double espresso) was okay, but I like it a bit stronger. Lovely place with a view over the river Shannon and towards the castle. We will certainly come back for lunch.

Excellent all-around for coffee ☕️ food and service. It's in the most beautiful part of limerick. It's a very relaxing place to go with great views of the river shannon and King Johns Castle 🏰

Just dropped in to get out of the cold. Had a very nice flat white and probably one of the best scones in Ireland, and the UK for that matter. Good selection of gluten free cakes and the festive sandwich also looked amazing. Lovely atmosphere, could hardly hear the Christmas music, and really friendly service.

11/03/2026: House Limerick is an excellent place for either lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to spend time with friends or family. The beer selection is very good, the wines are excellent, and the food is always full of flavour and great quality. One of the best parts is sitting in their garden area overlooking the river — it’s a beautiful and laid-back setting that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, a fantastic place to dine or simply enjoy a drink in a lovely setting. Definitely one of the nicest spots in Limerick to relax and unwind.
08/03/2026: We had a booking for a group of 5 girls for women’s day had the best service and Nicole who looked after us was fabulous thanks so much will be back would be better if we had abit more music in the back round but all and all good 👍
