Lovely pub in Capel Street. Maybe it was a rookie mistake going for a pint during St. Patrick’s weekend, because a pint was around 7€. Anyway, good vibes and very nice pub.

A gay-friendly pub, but not a queer bar. It's a genuine Irish pub, which I really appreciate. Good atmosphere and good Guinness.

One of my fave spots on Capel but has def lost some charm recently - bring back the plants and the fairy lights. The toilets need a deep clean too! Would say it’s gay friendly/adjacent and pulls a good pint!

Gourmet Burger Kitchen

12/04/2025: I loved the food. There's an option to eat without bread, and they give you two types of salad. The service was excellent. I recommend it.
11/04/2025: The staff were amazing. The ‘large chicken caesar salad’ was not very large and should be called the chicken and lettuce. The toilets were very clean. I wont order this ever again. My friend said his buttermilk chicken burger was decent.

Humphrey's Pub

28/03/2025: Good atmosphere here and very friendly staff. I haven't tried the food yet but it looks lovely. Fantastic beer garden and you can bring your dog inside or out. Sports always on the TV as well as the horse racing. They will try to accommodate all sports. Pints are nice as well.
