Stopped in there thinking it was just some little roadside bar for a quick bite but surprised by how good it was. Great atmosphere, great food, and great service. Highly recommended!

The Lansdowne

24/10/2025: Me and my boyfriend had the absolute pleasure of dining in the lansdown this morning. We were greeted promptly by hostess Linda who was absolutely delightful and attentive throughout our meal. 5 out of 5 stars . Amazing service !!
24/10/2025: Linda was fabulous. So friendly and efficient. The place was really busy and she was rushing around trying to make sure everyone was served. I was on my own and she constantly check in on me, to make sure I was OK.

04/01/2026: This is a late review- we ate here 2 years ago. it was the best food we had in Ireland. And so cute. We rode bikes from the boat doc to the other end of the Island (here), in the pouring rain. It was really fun. We were dressed for it. Still cold though. Had warm soup and delicious hot meal. They have gluten free food! I have celiacs and was so happy!
