First time going here and it won't be my last, it was very busy but the ladies looked after us as soon as we walked in the door, so friendly and helpful food was divine we went for one of the combos between us and we were stuffed. Would highly recommend

Top service with a smile, fast, food was beautiful and plenty of it. Nice welcome atmosphere. Dog friendly place with a doggy menu as well haha

Very disappointed here. Again heard really good things about Sweeneys, however this was really dissapointing. I ordered the fish and chips, the chips and mushy peas were cold. The fish was lovely though. My wife ordered the Bbq Ribs and chips, again the chips were cold and the ribs were just in a basic bbq sauce, nothing special. We also ordered a portion of the beer battered onion rings which were gorgeous and the reason for 3 stars. We deliberately did not complain about the cold chips or peas as we arrived at 4pm on a Friday afternoon with only 4 or 5 tables in the restaurant occupied and would expect issues like this not to occur at such a quiet period. Staff are very nice and helpful, the pub itself is really nice with the Copper ducting a real standout, however the food, which is not cheap, is disappointing.

Came here for the first time last week and I was back again already tonight recommending it. Staff members are the friendliest I’ve came across, food is remarkable, and great value for money. Leaving once again stuffed and happy

Would highly recommend sweeneys only seen them on instagram recently but had to try the food for myself. Pizza was delicious and had really good flavour definitely recommend, chicken goujons were delicious and really nice taste. Topped it off with the Ferrero cheese cake. I was full for about 24 hours i ate so much. 5 of us all enjoyed our meal and cant forget to mention the staff were all very nice and welcoming would definitely return.

Amazing food and service was 5 star

Staff are lovely. Food tasted like the chef doesn’t care anymore. I had a lamb shank and it had green beans and broccoli on it. People should be warned that broccoli and green beans are coming with the food are served to the side. Apart from that, there was no flavour from the food. The service staff are absolutely excellent.

I went here for my cousins birthday the shearing platter was lovely me and my auntie got in perfect size wing sauce was lovely. This is dog friendly I love dogs so I loved the atmosphere and I will definitely be back with my dog
