My favorite part of traveling is meeting local people. I had a great first impression of O'Connor's when I walked up to order drinks. John was the bartender he was so friendly, he asked where I was from and what my name was, we had a great conversation! That's what I will remember about O'Connor's Pub! I love a friendly bartender!

We stopped at this pub while waiting for the boat to go explore the Cliffs of Moher and were completely won over by the atmosphere, the owners, and the delicious meal!
A superb place!

Nice local pub. Daily specials. Visited a few times while visiting. My friend had the Guinness Irish Stew twice and I had Fish & Chips the first time and the Salmon the second time.
Our third visit was for dessert only - the Apple Crumble was excellent!!

Great pub with wonderful service and delicious food. My son had the bowl of chowder that was full of fresh seafood. It’s was a large portion and very filling. I had the amazing Guinness Stew, it was awesome full of tender beef and veggies complete with a delicious gravy and perfect mash. We finished off with a yummy apple crumble perfectly prepared. A must do warm pub after the cliff of Moher.

This place is the perfect Irish pub on the coast. Visited after a day at the cliffs. Everything was prefect and the burger is the best burger I have ever had. My friend left his wallet and we didn’t realize till we were 2 hours away and they worked hard to get it to us in Galway!!!! Come visit and enjoy a pint!

We stopped into the pub for lunch and were completely blown away—what an experience! The burger and chips were absolutely out of this world: perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a delight.
But honestly, as incredible as the food was, the service somehow managed to shine even brighter. The staff were not just friendly and efficient—they were genuinely warm, attentive, and went above and beyond in a way you rarely see.
My husband accidentally left his wallet at the bar, and what happened next truly floored us. Not only did they safely hold onto it, but they personally arranged for it to be dropped off near our accommodation in Galway—saving us the hassle of a long return trip or waiting on delivery. Who does that anymore?!
These are truly exceptional people running an exceptional place. We left not just impressed, but genuinely touched. Cannot recommend them highly enough—absolute legends!

Excellent food and an authentic atmosphere!
This pub, which is very cute even from the outside, has a great atmosphere, the service is very friendly and fast, and the food was excellent!
We especially tried the fish soup and the stew, and they were phenomenal!
Highly recommended!

Visiting from the Lone Star State. Chowder was the best, beef and Guinness stew was great, in-house entertainment kept us entertained and satisfied our live trad music search! Thank you and we will either be back ( hopefully one day) or definitely recommend to others.
