Good food Friendly staff We really enjoyed!

Just called in for food on our way to Visiting family the place was set up for a funeral but because they were a half an hour away the staff looked after us and the food was lovely

Just average! While the value for money is amazing, 3 course meal for €20, the quality of the food is meh. I had the Garlic mushrooms for a starter and while they were okay, you could tell they were from a frozen pack. The Madras Curry was tasty, but the chicken was terrible, it tasted like the chicken you get in a Lidl microwave curry and rice combo. The Strawberry Cheese cake, well, it could have been cream on biscuits and I wouldn’t have been able to tell, no flavour at all.

Food is delicious and so reasonable , staff are attentive and friendly I have never had a bad experience at Jack whites

I brought myself and my dog in here, there's not many places that are dog friendly, this one is. The service was good, and everyone was admiring Sabre. If anything, Sabre was a little overwhelmed, and I had to bring him out to the car for a break, he got a little stressed by all the attention, and he isn't used to it. Overall, the food was good, it's reasonably priced, and we were very well served. Recommended for people who have dogs, just be sure they're used to attention, if it's a rare breed, you'll get a lot.

I really wasn't impressed. It's just off the motorway but it's just got minimal atmosphere. I guess if you're looking for a quick bite just off the road it's OK.

Arrived on a Sunday as it is just at the start of the road down to Brittas Bay beach(which is a must see). It’s quiet but I can imagine it very busy in summer months. Good value, for a set meal (20 euro), but cleverly charge an extra two euro if you don’t take the set meal (which is three course). The food is good, but the service a little confused, considering the number of staff, they missed part of the order and brought someone else’s order instead. Yes I’m nitpicking, but hey it was quiet.

We went here for a family lunch. When I told the waitress I was coeliac she had no problem telling me which menu items were gluten free. She was excellent through out the meal. I had, nachos to start. Bacon and cabbage (no sauce) for main and an ice cream Sunday for desert. All for around €20. Not the greatest restaurant in the world but a lovely road side place. I would go here again for some traditional Irish pub grub. My biggest fault is that I had to drive there so I couldn’t have a drink by the open fire in the bar.
