Jack White's in

The food was all delicious. We went for the 3 course deal, which was excellent value for money. We had soup, 4 different mains and desserts and everything was delicious. Staff were very good at checking on us even though they were extremely busy. Will definitely be back. Also great to go somewhere that dogs are welcome!

We cycled in and got a hot drink at Jack in the Box, great seating outside on a lovely day but really had to move on due to the PA system playing some rubbish music at full volume, quite spoiled the feeling of peace and stopped us speaking with other people around, won't stop us coming back but PLEASE , no more slushy sounds!

I pulled off the M11 Motorway to meet up with a friend who was travelling in the opposite direction. Very convenient off the South bound carriageway. Big carpark conveniently located. Service was prompt and efficient. Portions were adequate and well priced. I noticed that they are installing a Motorhome park beside the pub. I will highly recommend and will call again.

Arrived on a Sunday as it is just at the start of the road down to Brittas Bay beach(which is a must see). It’s quiet but I can imagine it very busy in summer months. Good value, for a set meal (20 euro), but cleverly charge an extra two euro if you don’t take the set meal (which is three course). The food is good, but the service a little confused, considering the number of staff, they missed part of the order and brought someone else’s order instead. Yes I’m nitpicking, but hey it was quiet.

We went here for a family lunch. When I told the waitress I was coeliac she had no problem telling me which menu items were gluten free. She was excellent through out the meal. I had, nachos to start. Bacon and cabbage (no sauce) for main and an ice cream Sunday for desert. All for around €20. Not the greatest restaurant in the world but a lovely road side place. I would go here again for some traditional Irish pub grub. My biggest fault is that I had to drive there so I couldn’t have a drink by the open fire in the bar.
