Jacks Bar Restaurant Garden in Kells

Amazing first time. We stopped in Jacks on our way to farmophobia tonight. From the second we entered the building you could feel the great atmosphere. There was live music, everyone was smiling, the staff were super friendly. We ordered food and it was outatanding. I had ribs and the mrs had steak. The portions were huge and packed with flavour, the homemade coleslaw was delicious. Would definitely visit again and would recommend highly.

A wonderful location to end the day and accompany it with good food. Wonderful service, extremely friendly and accommodating. There is a nice selection of drinks and the food on offer is also wonderful. Don't underestimate the portions, the fries with the burger were already too much.

I stopped here for late breakfast on a Sunday with my Wife. I ordered a breakfast bagel. My Wife ordered a sandwich and we ordered a pot of tea. It was about half full when we were there. Staff were young and friendly enough. The orders were backed up and our order was running late. We waited maybe 30 minutes before the waiter brought over a full Irish breakfast. Not what I ordered, but would have accepted it had the waiter not rushed it back to the kitchen 🫣. The wait continued. We were quite hungry about 40 minutes after arrival, but we were not in a rush, so we were patient. One of the waitresses apologised and said our order was behind several others that had been put ahead of ours due to the incorrect order being taken. We asked for another pot of tea while we waited. The food eventually arrived and it was very tasty. Maybe it was because I was so hungry, but it was the best breakfast bagel I had in years! I would return here no problem. Mistakes happen, but it was a long wait where our order should have been prioritised when they got it wrong.

This has to be the best place in kells to have a party. We had a company bbq here recently and it was a fantastic day the food was amazing and so were the staff. Everyone had a great day thanks to all in Jack's.

Made a last minute booking for 6 with Kelley on a Saturday night. She fitted us in with no hassle. The restaurant was very busy, but the food and the service was excellent. Very prompt and polite staff, and I cant speak highly enough for the food and also the Guinness. Hands down the best food around. Keep up the great work Kelley and the team
