29/07/2026: Have regularly gotten coffee at 2Brew since it first opened and everytime it has been a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
The seating available outside provides a great opportunity to enjoy a lovely coffee and watch the world go by.
10/07/2026: Decent coffee, roast is a tad too dark for milk based coffee but certainly doesn't spoil the pallette.

12/06/2026: We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The staff is amazingly helpful. The ONLY reason we didn't stay longer was because they were fully booked. Food was some of best we had in Ireland. We will definitely stay here when we return to Kells.
10/06/2026: Had afternoon tea here for a friend's birthday. Staff brought out a desert with candles and sang happy birthday and also offered to take photos which was greatly appreciated Food was lovely and service was great, only negative was they did not offer fresh tea and coffee during our visit.
The only parking available on the day was council parking which is not connected to the hotel and the exit out of car park to the front of the hotel had no footpath.

24/07/2026: The food was decent and the portion was large, so good value for money. There are lots of food options, so if you're with a group it's easy to find something to please everyone. However the space is very loud and overwhelming for anyone with sensory issues.

06/07/2026: A beautiful restaurant as part of the Headfort hotel in heart of kells , always a favourite of mine , excellent food and drinks and friendly service by top class staff , definitely worth a visit , Fiona looked after us very well along with her colleague , thank you
13/06/2026: It was my first time in Vanilla Pod restaurant, and I can say it was a wonderful experience, not only because of the great service, but the food was delicious 😋. It is difficult to describe how good it was. I order 3 course meals, but it is charged separately, I mean, for the dinner there is no option to choose 2 or 3 course as you can find it on the early bird menu. Although there is not a option, I strongly recommend the dinner in Vanilla Pod restaurant! Team are friendly (congratulations Caroline! Sorry I don't remember all the staff's names!). Only the atmosphere was loudly, maybe because there were 3 celebrations at the same time. Anyway, I will come back, definitely! Special because I couldn't try the Pork in the main menu (they served all the portions at the time I got in the restaurant). Congratulations, guys for good quality and good service!

20/03/2026: This is hands down the best place around Navan to get a kebab—it’s worth the trip just to grab one! Their kebabs are top-tier in price, portion, and taste. The pizzas are even better than a Pizza Hut-style, but superb. The staff treats you like gold—if you go regularly, they know you and what you love. Super friendly, and the service is an 11 out of 10!

09/06/2026: George and Trisha run one of the best pubs in Kells. Great atmosphere, creamy pints, large beer garden and plenty of local musicians playing every weekend. Highly recommended

26/07/2026: Visited here with my partner and newborn baby and was told there was no seats inside so was seated outside then proceeded to see the people after us be seated inside even though we were told there was no tables inside, also found the staff member who seated us was quite rude because we had no booking. We were also told we would be seated inside once table was free which was a complete lie as we watched many other people get seated inside.

25/07/2026: Food was very tasty and service was great l. But the portion sizes are quite small for how expensive the mains are. The rice and naan are very cheap and tasty for only €2-3 but each main is like €16 euro minimum for fairly small portions that dont come with rice. We got free popadoms and sides for free which was very nice!!
24/07/2026: Excellent food, very pleasant and attentive service. Very good value. Highly recommend. Heaving take-away trade happening the night we were here also.

However.... Got a takeaway from here and holy mother! They give you a chicken breast in a box, sliced up thankfully, with a pot of the sauce you ordered.
I'm no chef, far from it, but I though the whole point of Chinese cuisine is that the protein you ordered is cooked in the sauce you ordered..... Really negative experience. Staff are incredible. But I should have got worried when the wait time was 10 mins. In my very uneducated opinion, I reckon the have the sauces in their wee tubs ready to microwave..... The only reason they get 3 stars and not one, is because when you put their sauce into the dish you've ordered, it tastes 100 times better the next morning. And the service. FOH service was amazing! Management needs to go. Putting speed and profit over quality. I'll stick with the rose garden thank you. Now that's a Chinese takeaway away! 5 stars for years now! Just decided to try something different, and was bitterly disappointed. Avoid at all costs.

from the reviews it seems like they prioritise restaurant customers over take away.which is fine..... Every business needs to turn a profit.
But just STOP doing take away! Focus on the restaurant!
