The food was decent and the portion was large, so good value for money. There are lots of food options, so if you're with a group it's easy to find something to please everyone. However the space is very loud and overwhelming for anyone with sensory issues.

Absolutely lovely place , specially the cook of kells cooked food , the meat is cooked to perfection . There are other food stalls in to choose more. Small jewellery in Kells

Headfort Arms

12/06/2026: We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The staff is amazingly helpful. The ONLY reason we didn't stay longer was because they were fully booked. Food was some of best we had in Ireland. We will definitely stay here when we return to Kells.
10/06/2026: Had afternoon tea here for a friend's birthday. Staff brought out a desert with candles and sang happy birthday and also offered to take photos which was greatly appreciated Food was lovely and service was great, only negative was they did not offer fresh tea and coffee during our visit. The only parking available on the day was council parking which is not connected to the hotel and the exit out of car park to the front of the hotel had no footpath.
