The BOOK MARKet in Kells

A café with a warm and cozy atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming staff, and delicious food! I recommend it if you're passing through and want to make a quick stop in Kells (a very well-kept village decorated with beautiful flowers!)

The staff here were so lovely. We visited with our two young kids and our 3-year old son fell apart when he saw that his cheese sandwich had grated red cheddar instead of white cheddar slices, like he's used to. We didn't say anything as it didn't seem like the cafe's problem. But when we were leaving, the staff asked us if we wanted to take the uneaten sandwich away and when I explained the problem, they immediately set about making a new sandwich for my son, exactly as he likes it, free of charge. It saved a stressful lunch, got much-needed food into a little boy's tummy and just left us feeling very well-looked-after. Oh and the rest of the food was lovely!

A gorgeous cosy wee nook twinkling with fairy lights and a wood burning stove. The staff are really lovely, particularly Annie with her interesting tales and way with words- great craic! Definitely recommend.

First time here it's amazing little cafe

Had a lovely tea and scone with my sister here.The atmosphere was lovely and was made even better by Annie.She was so attentive and made us feel right at home.

We got our delicious breakfast baps here where Jess was super helpful in arranging our large parties order, I'll certainly be back!!

Great visit to this cafe during the Hinterland Festival. Was busy but staff were excellent and attentive, particularly Rosie. Generous portions and a definite recommendation.

Gorgeous wee cafe in Kells. The staff are very friendly, food was yummy, and the secondhand book selection was excellent. We will definitely stop here again.
