If you don’t like or can’t have spicy food, this is not your restaurant πŸ˜… everything is super spicy there. The restaurant is clean and nice, the quality of food is good, but nowhere on the menu the level of being spicy of each dish is mentioned and even if you ask, they answer not much, while it’s too much🌢️πŸ₯΅

Perhaps the rating is a little exaggerated, but only a little. A solid 4+ or 4.5. Usually everything is tasty, served quickly. A polite, diligent woman served us mostly. She can always prompt and advise. There are many cafes nearby, but we usually choose this one. Especially today. It's hot. In others there were a lot of people, stuffy and noisy, but here is the best thing - quiet, cool and not too many visitors. For 25-30 euros, the two of us manage to have a normal snack. We hope to visit again. Nearby is the university hospital. When my mother was repeatedly treated there, we examined all the cafes opposite. For us, this is probably the best.

Buddha Bar

28/10/2025: This was one of the better bars we've been to in Ireland. The cute bartender that looked like Jim Sturgess let us stay past 10:30 for an extra round, and that lemon meringue pie cocktail changed my life 🀘🏻 Also, my brother gets espresso martinis everywhere he goes, and he said this was the best he's ever had.
16/10/2025: Cocktails are always πŸ‘Œ Shout out to Diarmaid for being the soundest bartender in town.

Thai Garden

26/10/2025: Food and drinks were delicious, however a rude staff member (think she was the floor manager) came over to us after 1 hour 20 and told us they needed the table and we had to leave. We were finishing our drinks when another nice staff member came over and apologized but again told us we had to leave. I enquired as to the length you usually get your table for - he told us 1 hour 45 generally. We had made our booking in advance, online and I even rang on the day to confirm the time so do not understand why we were continuously asked to leave. Poor service in my opinion, when the restaurant just wanted to capitalize on a busy Saturday night in the city. We are locals from Galway that will now think twice about returning.
22/09/2025: The Thai food shop is very beautiful. The service from the staff is very good, but the food is not delicious. It doesn't taste like Thai food at all. Run away.
