This is the oldest pub in limerick. Staff friendly patrons were welcoming to we strangers in town. You must stop here for a drink or two. Keep an eye out for john and Justin o'ryan two great locals who love a chat.

Guinness outstanding location great. Service friendly . A muster rugby pub with a pictures of 2000 and 2006 winning the cup.

It being some years . since I frequented this establishment . I see that it under new management . i feel it lost a bit of it local soul . Guinness well it was ok .and the two young bar staff were very pleasant .

03/11/2024: Beautiful setting and lovely atmosphere. Went for the three course menu at 39euro per head. Starter and desert were lovely however, the main meal was one of worst I have ever had. Two dried out lumps of pork served in a bowl of mashed carrot with a few peas mixed in. The look of it put me off and was not as described on the menu. It looked more like something you would give a dog. Husbands meal was much better anstaff we're very nice. Overall would recommend but don't get the pork!!!
30/10/2024: Ok so the food was ok meat’s overcooked had the ribs and roasted chicken but for me what made me not enjoy this experience was the lack of service.
