Limerick's oldest pub. Very quiet, with good music and an authentic atmosphere. It has a terrace with the best views of the castle. A variety of beers are available, although somewhat pricey.

If you want a great pint of Guinness then look no further! Creamy pints and great craic all around! A very nice and quaint beer garden with a lovely view of the River Shannon and a great place to meet friends for the start of a night out!

One of the best pubs in Limerick by far with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and welcoming to my party. Had a proper pint of Guinness too, and enjoyed the nice surroundings.

04/11/2025: Had a gorgeous meal in Marco Polo last Sunday. We were greeted at the counter, made feel very welcome, brought to our table and given our menus. The staff were really lovely and professional. I queried an ingredient in my fajitas dish and the chef sent out a little of it to smell/taste which was a nice touch. Will be back when next in Limerick and would recommend it.

17/10/2025: No. 1 Pery Square is an unexpected gem in Limerick! The style and design are truly incomparable and meticulous. We loved the unique, luxurious details—from the comforting scents throughout to the quirky garden art featuring vintage motors and machines. Service is impeccable, the spa was pristine, and the food and drink were superb. A genuinely relaxing, high-quality experience. Highly recommend!
12/09/2025: Chic and cozy boutique hotel in an easily accessible area of Limerick. Can’t overstate how strongly I recommend the spa here. We did the thermal experience and an hour massage after our red eye flight from NY and it was idyllic. The massage therapist Alan was amazing and I highly recommend getting a custom massage from him to start or end your trip in the most relaxing way possible!
