Really small old pub, with great character and great "creamy" pints.

The best pub experience in Dublin. We went in the afternoon, it was very cosy and atmospheric, the bartender was very friendly and nice. I used to be sceptical about the same beer tasting different in different places but The Capstan Bar really surprised me for Guiness really is much better there. Cider was delicious as well.

A small, traditional pub opposite St. Patrick's Cathedral. We found John Fallon's on the recommendation of a local. It's exactly what you imagine an Irish pub to be, including the locals behind the bar. Unfortunately, it's a bit far from our hotel near Trinity College; otherwise, we probably would have gone there more often.

Consistently poured to perfection, with that rich, creamy head and a flawless draw, it’s as good as you’ll find anywhere in the city. Great spot for a pint. Staff are always welcome and friendly. However always expect a crowd and to maybe stand. But will be worth it.

I have had many pints of guinness at pubs close to here while visiting Dublin, but this cool pub has the creamiest pint i have had in the city. The toasted ham and cheese sandwich was great.
