Lovely food and such a great atmosphere!

I like the fact that this is one of the oldest pub, the Decor is quite weird for me inside the pub. From service point of view, it is very confusing, like you don’t know whom to order and there is a lot of mess because of rush. Hardly any vegetarian food options are available here, so if you are a vegetarian, then this is a very bad choice. I don’t drink alcohol, but I manage to find a nice glass of cranberry juice.

The place was busy. The food was really nice, really nice place to go, the staff were busy so I think they don’t have time to be friendly with customers.

First class food and service in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A group of 13 of us and nothing was too much bother for the waiting staff, all very pleasant and helpful. Thank you to all.

Good service, top location. Very expensive for lunch. Lamb shank was lacking seasonings. Good place for tourists who want the Irish music pub experience.

Excellent, old style pub/restaurant. Plenty of space. Amazingly tasty food and nice crafted beer. One of: must stop and go in place.

We came here based on recommendations from others who have been before. We did enjoy our time here and the food was very good. My fish pie was actually gorgeous. Only not a 5* due to the fact we were basically sat in a corridor with another table of 2 in it. Opposite the very busy staff office. So had constant traffic passing us. We had our pint and a half of Guinness food and weren’t given any option of more time, food or drinks the bill was just brought to the table. We paid and left. Not sure if they were expecting more people it was quite at the time we visited.

My wife and I were in Dublin for a week, visiting friends that used to live in the US near us. They took us on a short tour of the local area and we stopped here for dinner. The place is VERY busy with tight inside seating, outside seating, etc. But...we had reservations and our table was ready on time. Of the 4 of use we had 3 different food choice and they were all great. I had my first Guinness in years and it was fresh and tasty. The waitstaff is very friendly and promptly delivered our drink and food orders. We expect to be hear again next year and will definitely stop by this pub again!
