This restaurant is a little treasure. A must to savor the spirit of Irish atmosphere and food.
Perfect place when it's cold and raining, thanks to their cozy space, with cushions, fireplaces and old comfortable wooden benches and chairs. Amazing in hot weather, thanks to their outdoor tables with wonderful views.
We have come on a number of occasions and it has never been disappointing. The staff are hard workers and always polite. The food is a pleasure, highly recommended the Irish lamb stew, the lamb shank, the battered hake and the pan fried salmon. The menu for kids can offer more than the usual Goujons, we ordered beef and Guinness pie for my daughters. Everything is fresh and served with care.
And finally, if you want to leave really happy, order an Irish coffee.
What an experience superb atmosphere as a Welsh family lived up to all our expectations. Alex was a superb staff member. Nothing was to much trouble. Great variety of food fresh mussels and fish pie recommended.
We started by no knowing that kid were on holiday. But, no matter - they found us a table. We were staying just a five minute walk down the street. This was a lot of food for the money. So much so we had to literally get to go boxes the second night we ate there. Staff was helpful and friendly even though they were swamped. Seems that is how this place always is.. The food was good. Hot and tasty. wine and beer were cold and refreshing.
