Very picture's pub in the heart of the country , great history of people that call to the pub with own little museum. At night it has dance off of Irish music with a shuttle bus to carter for , great place for food seating out side or in side

A must visit if you are in the area and especially if you have never been to Ireland. It’s kitschy but it’s probably a bit of what tourists picture Ireland to be like. Really fun to explore all the rooms. Even though it was not a hoodie night, there was a musician in one of the rooms who was fun to listen to. Food is decent, not the best but broad menu with lots of options.

We booked in advanced before our trip explaining that we had a baby. When we arrived we were disappointed to be told that children aren’t allowed at certain times due the night for the Hooley. It was a bit confusing. Administration was a little lacking.

I ate there with 3 kids as we were in the area. The food was delicious, all freshly prepared and the kids cleared their plates which believe me never happens! I was so impressed as usually we have to bring a pick nick with us as the food is so bad in other places. Also amazing, friendly and helpful service. Well done to all.

First time here , didn't disappoint !! Food was beautiful, portions generous, staff were lovely and the price was very reasonable!!! My only issue is because of the recent lovely weather bringing out the pesky flies. They were trying to steal my lunch 🤣🤣

Very nice and authentic Irish pub!

We went twice to Johnnie Fox's this week, once for the Hooley show/dinner and once to the regular bar side just to watch some music and a drink. Both were great! The food we had was really delicious and the music and dancing so fun

Nice pub and restaurant combined with Museum. Great view with good weather. Good selection of food, and option for gluten free dessert - chocolate brownie which suprised me. Service was good. Selection of irish cheeses in dessert section was great, generous portion. Lamb shank cooked perfectly (September 2025) It never dissapoints me, been there on a warm sunny day beautiful flowers in the front, favourite Lamb Shank cooked perfectly again (July 2026)
