Johnnie Fox's in Glencullen

Very nice food (although a touch too much tarragon in the pie gravy!) Fabulous band who were all really talented, great young dancers (don't want to think about their knees) , and a wonderful atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyable.

A brilliant way to round off our Irish Champions weekend for our party of seven. Excellent food, great service, unique atmosphere. We will be back.

An exceptional place; the decor alone is worth the trip, and the food is excellent. A must-see!

Without a doubt, the best pub in all of Dublin. Attentive waiters, great service, delicious food, and quirky decor. It also has a small museum. The price might be a bit high, but it's no different from what you'd pay in Dublin. It's worth a trip if you're in the mountains.

I am visiting from Canada and went to the Hooley night show. The food was delicious and large serving. The Guiness pie was a little salty but very good. I wish I had a larger appetite or could have taken home half the dish. Service was spot on with the light flipper. The show itself was entertaining and fun! Live music of traditional music and dancers. The bar itself was very original and had amazing pictures and stories. A must see for sure! The road up is small and narrow..we drove with some locals. If you are going yourself I highly recommend taking the van or a cab...unless you are comfortable with Irish driving.

Was in Ireland for a business trip. Our last day we went to Johnnie Fox's. The food, service and entertainment were all superb.

A truly wonderful gem that we were ever so fortunate to stumble across on our way home from a gorgeous hike in the Tibradden Wood. Terri took great care of us while we enjoyed our lamb stew and Guinness pie. They were both perfect. And the banofee pie was so extraordinary I ordered one for the road. Live music started at 7:30. They have it every night. The locals piled in as the musician got started. Seems to be a local favorite. I couldn't recommend a better spot.

Beautiful, secluded, and peaceful location. The welcome was warm, but the service was incredibly slow for the appetizer, main course, and dessert. On the plus side, the drinks service was quick and the dessert was delicious. The main course arrived after a long wait, was cold, and fell short of my expectations in terms of flavor. The music played by the musicians got progressively louder until you had to shout to barely hear yourself.
