Johnos bar in Ballinrobe

20/11/2024: We are in Ireland for a couple weeks and have eaten at 2 of the finest hotels on the island but they pale in comparison to the authentic local fare served here at Carney’s. The seafood chowder was exactly what I had hoped for on this cold and rainy evening and was served piping hot with a side of delicious mashed potato. My wife had the Vol au Vents and it was hearty and delicious as well. All served and the Guinness poured perfectly by Katrina who was an superb host and she cheerfully provided local information and was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend.

19/10/2024: After a trying day Carneys lifted our spirits with a great meal, fresh ingredients and menu and great service. Thankyou!
