Stopped here for lunch on the way to Clifden. The pub has that classic older Irish pub vibe to it. Most of the other patrons appeared to be retirees. It's very quiet but still nice. Welcomed and seated by a lovely staff member who gave us menus and informed us of the special and the soup of the day. Ordered the garlic chicken pannini, the duck spring rolls, and some chips on the side. The pannini was delicious and well cooked. Came with a rocket salad side, which was well presented and fresh. Chips cooked to order. Duck spring rolls were lovely, too, and came with a sweet chilli sauce to dip. Also had a pint of Heineken, a coffee, and a Coke. All were as expected. Nice service, but the atmosphere was lacking, probably as it was quite far out from another town or city.
