Joyce's Bar in Recess

I had the best scone in Ireland so far here in Joyces Bar on the 15.06.2026. It was warm, fresh, not too brittle and scrumptious! This recipe should be put on a throne for scones. A Scone-Throne one might say. Thank you! Also lovely people and a cozy Irish roadside diner atmosphere in my opinion. :)

We stopped here for a quick bite. The soup of the day was piping hot and delicious. The oven was roaring, it was incredibly cozy. The service was very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

A restaurant in the Connemara area, with a very friendly and attentive staff and a great atmosphere; the food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Stopped off here for a break from driving and ended staying for about 3 hours. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and locals. Very relaxed vibe and good musician.
